Send what the dashboard actually says
Include the exact wording, any displayed countdown and whether the message is intermittent. Tell us about top-ups and the date or mileage of earlier SCR system work if you have a record.
Explain earlier tuning and repairs
If the car has an existing remap, list the known software history. Include previous sensor, wiring, pump or other system repairs without assuming that the same component is responsible again. A report from the earlier investigation helps preserve the context.
Agree the diagnostic scope
The workshop can consider the warning history and explain appropriate checks for the vehicle. A reset or a replacement part should not be assumed to answer the cause of a recurring message.
