What engine tuning should do
The best engine tuning feels progressive. The vehicle should pull harder and respond more cleanly without an abrupt spike in one part of the rev range.
Modern ECUs manage fuel, boost, torque requests, throttle response, injection timing and protection limits. A careful calibration adjusts the right areas so the vehicle uses its hardware more effectively.
Stage 1 remapping
Stage 1 tuning is for standard vehicles in good mechanical condition. It is usually the best choice for daily drivers, work vans and vehicles used for towing. We still check for weak clutches, boost leaks, DPF back pressure and old fault codes first.
Stage 2 tuning
Stage 2 tuning is for vehicles with supporting hardware such as intercoolers, intake work, exhaust changes or turbo upgrades. These jobs need more care because temperatures, airflow, torque limits and boost control all matter more.
